Auto paint store can match paint. In california you'll be able to fry eggs on a black canopy.

Done it....if you have a paint shop that has a scanner to color match your truck it should be fine. only concern is the difference in shine from a fresh paint compared to your original paint. if you have taken care of your truck it should be ok. Remember the better you prep the better the turnout!!

Cost would be the only thing stopping me from going to a paint shop.. I paid 300$ for the camper I dont want to put much more money into it.

My truck is MGM and my camper is blue. IMO a black camper would look good on any color

Posted something but deleted . Paint alone is expensive. Good score on camper.

On my first taco, I had the lavender steel truck and came across a red topper. Circa 2004, hadn't realized how expensive the cost of paint had become, even then at that time. Left it as is for a number of years then had an accident that busted up the topper a bit. A little half-ass fiberglass repair, needed some paint to cover, so I just settled on some 99 cent red from the store just to get by, since the fiberglass repair was less than perfect. Rattle can finish did look surpisingly good and couldn't tell the paint lines from 50 ft. I'd say rattle can it if you can't or don't want to afford a body shop to match it.
