    Question for you Otters since I know you have been to Uwharrie. How tough are the trails? I plan on camping there this weekend and wouldn't mind some light wheeling. My truck will be loaded with my life since this is stop number 1 on the way to Colorado!

    Anything specific I should see while there?

    You can do everything there with ease.
    Daniel & dicky bell are the only two "difficult" trails and knowing you and your truck you'll be just fine on both.
    The top of Daniel offers a very nice overlook - the group shot on the first page was taken there. :thumbsup:

    I'm worried about all the extra weight I will have. I'm loading the truck tomorrow so I'll see how close I am from the bumps. I do have brand spanking new stock leaf packs though courtesy of Toyota.

    Don't tell me that! Lol I'm not looking forward to camping in the rain. Might have to change plans.

    You can still do everything - just take it easy and stay to the right side on the first ledge on Daniel and you'll do fine.

    For dicky bell: when you get to the one trick rocky spot just stay wide left and go around - a stock taco could handle it.

    I checked out the park website & some vids on youtube. It's small but there's a ton of variety of trails. It'll be a long weekend and about 11 hours one way. Looks better than Uwharrie for wheeling though. :cool:
