FWIW to anyone, snow level is still around 3500ft in the Greenwater area. A few patches of deep snow kept us to elevations below that.

Hey mate, totally missed this. Any suggestions for easy day stuff to do today (mother's day) or next weekend?

Anyone here near Yakima, Wa? I'm looking for trials near. I have no clue where to go. I only have a 3 inch lift with 33s. Stock suspension

Really any of the FS roads off of 410 should be fun and possibly clear by now.

Awesome. Thanks! If you're headed out that way, let me know and I'll see if I can make it out.

Great thread. Thanks for all the info.
I just traded my Outback in on a new Tacoma. I have done a lot of the FS70 area outside of Greenwater with the Subaru...so I am looking forward to exploring even more of the area with the Tacoma.
It's also helpful that Greenwater is nearby.

My wife and I moved to Snohomish (just off 88th) a few years ago and are looking to explore some off-road trails. I'm pretty new to off-roading so we'll start easy, maybe that Darrington route you mentioned. Most of our journeys up that way are on motorcycles, so looking forward to exploring a little. Any choice routes around Roesiger or Spada? Woods Creek?

Wow you must be close to me, im just off 131st past Dutch Hill!
Darrington is still going to be your best bet, or anything up hwy 2 like Sultan Basin Road (Spada lake), or up to Skykomish off Becklar Road. Everything i've seen by Roesiger is gated.

Was just up Skykomish today actually..

Oh man you ARE close! I'm off 92nd past the nursery, backed up to hwy 2! So if you get honked at by a dude in a silver 05 dbl cab you know it was me
Thanks for info, (great pic btw) I think I'll head up to Darrington with my wife tomorrow

That's the odd thing.... The key doesn't say "do not duplicate" on it but it's the same shape as all my other "do not duplicate" keys. I'll see if the local lock smith can make it happen.

Thanks @NorthwestCruiser ! You weren't kidding about the views. Wife and I went to Darrington today, got to explore a bit. Almost choked on my guts as we approached that view spot on 2435 (pic below). Scared the crap out of me! But man it's gorgeous up there. Took 24/Mtn Loop all the back to Barlow, Granite Falls. We're excited now to go check out some more spots!20170916_124955.jpg 20170916_125042.jpg

Nice! Too bad for the smoke but doesn't look like it was too thick

Anyone know the current status off Beckler? Planning to head there this weekend, just want to make sure there aren't a bunch of gates/closures. We went up to Spada Lake last weekend and the the Olney Creek gate was locked. It was actually pretty lame just driving up to a trailhead then back down.
