i just got news from a friend who is climbing out in the valley that there has been a huge rock fall in yosemite on el cap and people are trapped buried...

I'm class of 07'. Skyline was one of the schools I wanted to go to, but out of my area/district. The school in my area is Castlemont so I went to school in Alameda instead, SJND. Where'd you move to?

I wasn’t in the skyline district either but I used my cousins address.
I went to sequoia for elementary was suppose to go to Bret Hart and Oakland High but bluffed my way into Montera and Skyline

not sure but something like a 300ft slab of rock just let go according to my friend who is there
he said the sound was intense and immediately knew something was not right

I have first hand experience with the roar of avalanches, I can only imagine what a rock fall like this would sound like.

@LTDSC from what I am being told this just happened with in the last 15-20 minutes

 

just found on twitter emergency crews are investigating the rock fall like you said.
