Toyota Museum Torrance Closing

I had no idea this even existed until about a week ago. They will be closing their doors after this Friday so time is running out. It is located in Torrance CA. Some amazing vehicles and history. They have two GT2000s. One is red valued around 1mil, the other is a Gold one which was owned by supermodel Twiggy in the 60s/70s. They only made two gold ones. This gold one is valued at around 2.5 mil. CRAZY! They have truck history too!

Wait, what? My grandfather donated one of the 60's vehicles to them...I hope it opens back up and the car doesn't disappear!

 

The cars will remain but the museum won't be open to the public any longer.

 

Sounds like it's all moving to Texas, where their new HQ is.

They said they weren't moving to Texas when I was there today but maybe the receptionist didn't know. Texas is getting some cool rides
