    Greetings, TacOklahoma!

Finally replaced the LT tires with ATs, looking to start hitting some trails around the city. I just found out about the Oklahoma Adventure Trail and Kiamichi. K-trail might be out of my league for now, but I used to tear up the mud around Stanley Draper when I was stationed at Tinker and drove a not-Tacoma 4x4 (forgive me, I was young and dumb!)

I'd like to start doing armor mods before I start thinking about a lift. Got ideas about a watered-down (I'll still daily this truck) overlander set up.

I saw there's going to be a meet in the Ozarks. I'd love to go, but unfortunately I'm also doing a Bushcraft meet that very same weekend.

Anybody got some good non-paved backroads to recommend for exploration within an hour or so of the city? I'm out in Yukon/Mustang.

Sundog Trails, down in Lexington... that might be an hour or so. Lots of sand, some mud, and river access.

I flew to that airport all the time during my private pilot training
What do you do at Tinker? I went and spent the day with the 507th ARW a few months back as an introduction to AF Reserve life

I've tried it a few times, but I always seem to get bored and just end up paddling around

Nothing wrong with just kayaking. I do a lot of that some days just scouting out new fishing spots.

I've wanted to try duck hunting out of mine. That sounds like it would be a blast
