42,000 so far on mine. 265/70r17s

I really liked the first 20k on them - not too loud and good overall performance. Good on long roadtrips, handled predictably on road and off road; had some very heavy rain they did well in, many trips to the ski hill and many camping trips.

After the first 20k, I noticed they started getting a little squirrely on hard packed snow and ice and started to hydroplane a little. At 25k they started getting noisy and now at 40+k they overpower my stereo at 70mph; can hear over wind and everything - and I have done a lot of soundproofing to the truck. When we visited Grand Teton National Park this summer, they had a dB meter by the road and we maxed it out at 30mph 15ft from my truck. Family behind me in a land cruiser running BFG ATs w/ 36k on them were barely half way up.

This winter, I'll be going with a set of Nokian Hakkapolitas as I prefer more peace of mind with my family in the truck with me. These will be worn out by then, so come spring I'll either get another set of these or BFG ATs. maybe cooper discoverer.... We've been doing more 4x camping and with our rooftop tent, the wieght has increased, so I do worry about the sidewalls a bit more. Then again, I've torn out a BFG sidewall before as well...

Got my duratracs on today. Not the best pics because of the shadow but I'll wash it this weekend and post better pictures.
