17x9 HELO HE878 with Hankook RF10 DYNAPRO AT-M LT275/70R17 RCD/Billie's Front and Rear with OME 883's and HS Progressive AAL Resulting in 3"+ Lift LR SPC UCA'S Diff Drop K&N Cold Air Intake LED's Exterior/Interior
Set-up: Front RCD/Bilsteins set at 2.5" with stock TRD off-road coils (252k miles) and Rear RCD/Bilsteins with HS Progressive 3 AAL with stock overload kept on.

Hub center to fender lip measurements

Front before lift: 20.25" Rear before lift: 20.75" Difference equals: 0.50" rake

Front after lift: 22.25" Rear after lift: 23.50" Difference equals: 1.25" rake

    Questions:
Is it safe to assume my front coils are "tired" and need to be replaced since I only netted 2.0" of lift? (I have a new set of OME 883's ready to install)
How much extra height can I expect after the 883 install with fronts set to 0"?
Will it still have a rake, level or Bro Lean?

883s on a 4x4 v6 should get you 2.5" of lift IIRC. They're rated at 590lbs whereas stock TRD springs are <500lbs. So you can even add a bit of extra weight if you want (bumper, winch, skids, etc.) and not experience any sag.

5100s set to 0 and using the883s for lift should give you a better ride than what you have now. Maxed out 5100s makes for a stiff ride

I have read/heard the 883's give "about" 2.75" lift WITH 150-200 lbs of weight.

Yeah that sounds right, I think going with the heavier spring is a good choice. The others rated at stock weight don't give as much lift as they advertise, in my experience. I only got 1" of lift with the 881s that were supposed to give about 2", no added weight on my truck at the time. Upgraded to 600lb springs and the ride was much better, too.

Do you think I will get MORE than 2.75" with no weight up front? That would put me at 23.25" front and 23.50" back.

No, that's doubtful. Only thing is the ride will be a little stiffer since the springs are heavier but should still feel better than having maxed out 5100s on stock springs.

    I found this on bilsteinlifts.com:

"OME 883: 200 + lbs additional front weight (heavy bumper and winch) 2.5- 3 inch Lift"

Should I interpret that as saying the weight brings the coils down to 2.5-3.0 inches and NO weight means higher lift?

The coils are only so tall, they don't get taller. But they can get shorter if weight is added. I think the way to interpret that would be that you should expect no more than 3" of lift, less if you start adding a lot of weight especially if it exceeds what the coil is rated to carry.

I understand the free height issue. My thought is the STOCK weight should compress them SOME and the 200+ lbs would compress them more and down to 2.5"-3.0". That seems logical at least to me.
