Getting vibration somewhere in driveline. Occurs at around 80km/hr and above and subsides when the gas pedal is released. At first I thought it might be the drive shaft hanger bearing. However I noticed play in the linkage going into the front differential. Both sides have play, but the driver side has slightly more. Is ANY amount of this play normal???

You need to replace your front diff bearing with the ECGS bushing.Try putting your truck in 4h and see if it goes away. If so then that's your problem. Assuming your 4x4

Yes that's exactly what I did. Rear only. I was hoping it was just the hanger bearing, no such luck. Thanks for the info!
