    Thinking about investing in a small leveling kit. Maybe 2.5". What brands do you like? Also, what are the pros and cons of doing a lift of this size? Thanks for the feedback! :)

    I did 2.5 and ended up with a reverse rake. I added a 1 inch block in the back and now have about 1/4 positive rake. Once mine was done my 245 tires were way to small so ended up having to purchase some 265 Toyo. I've been happy with it no issues so far. I think my kit is Rough Country.

    One con, is that you will likely get the driver's side differential vibration after install. Fixed with the ECGS bushing: https://eastcoastgearsupply.com/c-1169296-toyota-clamshell-bushings-8-clamshell.html

    Another is you may need new upper control arms at that height.

    Another is that you develop a shudder on take off. This is typically cured with a carrier bearing drop spacer, or adding washers.

    Another is having to fight off all the pussy that is going to be throwing themselves at you, once they see you rolling in a lifted Taco.
