East Bay area Tacoma burger run?

NOV.3rd , 7-9pm !!

I'm new to the forum, new Turd Gen tacoma, just newb. don't know anybody yet- would love to meet some of you guys- best way to learn more about these trucks. So, I have an idea, and one may already exist, i don't know....anyway here's my idea:
East Bay Tacoma World meet & greet burger run ....anyone interested? I was thinking Sparky's Burgers off highway 13 .....it was a cool spot alot of my hotrod friends and I used to roll out too with our model A's.... but other side of the tunnel works too....this place has good parking i recall so alot of us could cram in there i think

sounds fun! there's also an upcoming mod day in October where a lot of the local norcal TW members clear their schedules to make it lol from what i've heard @Tee Arghhhhhh Dee has killer BBQ skills and the willingness of members to help each other out is outstanding!

 

i saw that mod day...i wish i could go- i'm on a much needed vacay then out of state

I'd be down depending on the date! This is definitely a good TW community out here in NorCal...way more active and supportive than SoCal tbh. You should definitely come out to the mod day and meet a bunch of the guys tho!

it seems the crew up here is cool- i wish i could do mod day, but i had a vacay planned out then for months

 

Vacays are more fun than mod days lol. I've been here for a little over 4 years and somehow have missed all of MJ's mod days for one reason or another. This'll be fun tho!

 

whoops...i meant WAS ad...i was in from 95-99..reserve from 99-2003. been civilian for 14 years now

 

smart man... the military has become more of a joke/headline than tradition and honor... makes me want to finish out but i've realized its better to get out now and start in the civilian world than to wait and regret lol

stay in....6 years aint that much...trust me. get your retirement...you're close. The guys i work with at Shell that have military retirement plus this pay are shitting in the tall grass! worth it just for the lifetime medical and getting to shop at the commissary/bx. the check too....i'd just stick it out and make your 14 years worth something

yeah thats what a lot of people have said but a lot have said its a good time to get out as well as they are/have been changing things that drastically effect our careers with no grandfather clauses... im tired and not willing to let them control my future anymore... i've seen people right where im at and then forced out for some of the dumbest stuff and leave with nothing... at least i'll be leaving with a pension and im okay with that

 

I think you can add a pole with some dates, times and different places. See what works for more people.

im in walnut creek and perfectly willing to go to the other side of the tunnel
may or may not have a tacoma still depending on dates but either way I'm not leaving my tacoma brethren even if i have a full-size diesel so give dates ill do my best to be there

thats the plan... moving back east closer to family and with all of my experience and background in the military i'm hoping to transition to a decent paying job verses starting at the bottom again lol

 

look into refineries. ALOT of veterans here. i've been in this industry working as a control center dispatcher for almost 20 years now. I've made 6 figures every since I got out of the AF with the job and school i did while in. SO worth the time i served.

....not to mention: MURICA' FUCK YEAH lol
