Why is she bringing her keys, if you are driving with yours? I'm in the same exact situation, but we don't both bring keys in the same vehicle one of us is driving.

She keeps my spare in her bag 24/7 just to keep it somewhere. She brings her bag, she brings the key.

Could you switch that place from her bag to a wall mounted key holder? Sounds like that'd be the easiest solution.

I suppose I could but I'm not the one who asked the original question. When shes not with me I use the touch spot to lock the doors. If she is and leaves the bag in the truck then I simply press the button on the fob that's still in my pocket. Doesn't bother me.

If you use your key fob to lock it then it will lock. The door panel lock or handle lock won’t work if there is a key fob in the truck.

Yes indeed the fob in my pocket trumped the fob inside the truck and it locks up fine. Ah yes the glories of technology. Oh yeah, after 37.5 years of being hooked up with this one lady, I know what is worth stirring her up and her carrying a fob for my truck is just not worth messing with.

Right after I wrote out a $36,000 check, I read the manual. Seemed like the thing to do.
