    Son of a gun....

I just realized that I did the Ferrules wrong on mine... going to have to try and fix that tomorrow somehow.

It would not matter much, except I want them to be done correctly.

    :annoyed:

Be careful with that Lowes stuff. I used it here and the adhesive had become a runny mess in the heat of late spring. It had dripped down the dash, the glove compartment and onto the carpet.

I noticed you did both Ferrules and a bolted cable lock. Interesting. Are you concerned the Ferrules won't hold under stress? My mental riser build always has just Ferrules. As a touch point, I strung 4 long (40' - 50') cables across my back yard to hold stings of light bulbs. They lasted 5 or 6 years and only came down when I took them down. Two different wind storms last year pulled cable/phone lines off my house, but the Ferruled lines held fast.

Anyway. If you're building those lower anchors, I'm buying!

Thanks for the heads up on the velcro stuff.

Also, I redid them today and it is just Ferrules now, I messed up that one, so it also had the cable lock on it.

After redoing them today, they look much cleaner and pretty damn good.

I have had a couple people ask about the lower anchors... So will be looking to make a couple sets soon to sell. Just have to find them time!

Got a couple things done today.

Remounted the waterport to inside the bed using a pair of @Zac of all trades brackets.

    Photo Sep 28, 10 55 40.jpg

Then swapped out the horrible Radiator mount bushings for the ones I picked up from @hoarder23, easy 30 minute job that needed to be done.

    Photo Sep 28, 14 32 47.jpg

Also took out the CB radio as I plan to mount it in a different location and installed the Salex Organizer that I had picked up a while ago... had to modify it, and not use the center section of it, but it now is able to hold my M&P shield inside it the truck holster very securely.

    Eh, but deductible thought.

Tree, turned to soon, was on JB Turnpike.

Ehhhhh high clearance bumper would have save it, but oh well.

Yea, about to see if I can get it to pop back out completely.

Got it somewhat fixed, there is just one spot that I can't get to pop back out as it si more bent than actually popped in.

So more than likely just going to have to live it it, it looks better than it did. The scratches are not going to be able to get fixed, so oh well.

The chute on trail #22 where you blew both beads and I got stuck on Labor Day weekend is now filled with a massive tree and a new path to the right was dozed in. Forgot to tell you that when Ed and I went through it in the LandCruiser.

Yep, got some of the battle dent fixed, just one section of it I can't get too real well with the mallet, so I guess it will stay. I got a buffer so will be trying to see what I could possibly buff out.

Yea, it would have save the bed side if I had high clearance, too late now though. If I wasn't needing to save for the regear project, I would be looking at getting a high clearance for sure.

Not bad at all, lot more washed out with all the rain, but still really good.

Ha, well that is good to know if I ever make it back up there.
