Anyone with an OEM Audio Plus system experience a hissing noise when the radio is on? I installed the 450q in my 2015. The hissing is similar to a bad ground connection but does not whine with the acceleration of the vehicle. If you raise the volume, the hissing noise gets lost in the music.

I installed everything as per the instructions. I removed the ground and installed it once again but remained the same, although when I unplugged the amp harness behind the radio and plugged the stock harness back in, the hissing went away.

I already contacted OEM Audio and they said they will be testing a 2017 Tacoma next week to try and resolve the issue.

yes - I have the same issue. The noise is evident even with audio turned off. Also can be heard when vehicle is turned off. It goes away at the same time the dome light times out. I am going to relocate the ground directly to the battery and see if that helps.
