I can't...I love the mountains too much and will be looking at every single view on the trail.

    GMTA!

I'll do it if no one else steps up. Just not going to go @Daria speed. Might not even be a bad idea since we'll have 2wd trucks there.

Hey now...don't be hatin' on the 2WDs! Maybe I should lead and if I get stuck you can push me up the hill.

lol Not hating. First couple of HPR runs I did was in my PreRunner. First time I had a hard time keeping up with the group cause mud flaps and tiny little 245's.

I'd rather go a bit slower and everyone have fun.

Haha yeah unfortunately unless some miracle happens and I get my truck back before then. It's easy though, I don't like flying either. I like to enjoy the scenery, plus there are others out there too and I've seen some close calls when people fly through there.

Thought about bringing the wife's 4Runner but i just detailed, polished, and waxed hers soooooo I really don't wanna dirty it up haha. Y'all enjoy, maybe we can do another one soon

First time I went was in my 2015 Prerunner. It did just as good as my brother in laws 4x4 Jeep. Just really bumpy, lots of vibrating with that 2wd suspension. It was a blast.

Oh and if you don't want a .5" thick layer of gravel dust on EVERTHING, roll your windows up haha.

That's exactly what happened to us! Gravel dust for days and days. There was still dust in it when I traded it for the 4x4. lol Hell I was coughing it up for a couple of days after the first run.o_O

I still find granite dust in the truck from that trip when we camped.

Its been a busy week.. but I've finally got a little time to post up a few pics from last weekend. @EricL , @BravesTaco95 , and I had an awesome time Sunday afternoon. Credit to Eric for the first two, the rest were quickly snapped with my cellphone. Apologies for any bad quality.

I hate to raid the HPR thread, but am considering a CMR run 12/2 if you're interested in an alternate run.

Are there spots to camp with a RTT here or do you need to walk 100 ft from the road? Permit required?

Yes, there are places to put your tent up. A nice one by a river can be found if you take the first right off HPR, wind around for quite a while, cross the river, then immediately on the left is a nice flat spot by the river you just crossed.
