2017 TRD Off Road Wheels on 2015 TRD Off Road?

Hello - I searched and searched and either I suck at searching or the question wasn't asked...

I have an opportunity to purchase a new take-off set of wheels from a 2017 TRD Off-Road. I am told they are 7x16, -25 offset. Stock Goodyears, 265-70-16.

I want to put these on my 2015 TRD Off-Road, which is bone stock. I think the factory wheels on my truck now are 7x16, -30 offset. Same tire size, but with BFG stock tires that are about worn out.

So, the only issues I see are TPMS, and the 5mm offset change (the 2017 wheels move the tires 5mm further out). I am looking for a confirmation that 5mm isn't the end of the world, and shouldn't expect any rubs? I am probably going to buy an ATEQ QuickSet tool to deal with TPMS, and put winter tires on my 2015 wheels. Then I can swap between the two at will (I will get the second set of sensors with the new wheels).

Will they rub? Any better ideas to deal with TPMS?

    Thanks in advance

IMG_3682.jpg They fit just fine! My local Tires Plus took the TPMS out of my '15 wheels, and put them in the '17 OR wheels for $40.

No issues rubbing at all. Plenty of pics on here of them happily installed on second gens. I have 16x7.5 15mm offset TRD FJ wheels with 275 70 16 and they don't rub. Different dimensions I know, but they also stick out further as these 2017's would.

    Can't comment on the TPMS.

And no the 2016-2017 TPMS sensors will not work on the 2nd Gens. You will need to swap those out and put new ones in or live with the light on.

They won't work or the truck will need to be reprogrammed?

They won't work on a 2nd Gen at all, they are a different type that digitally show on the 3rd Gen Head Unit or dash.
