Tried to do a search on this so maybe this is a first? My 2017 SR5 AC now has 15,000 miles on her. The gray fabric is showing fraying! My SR5 2002 at 240,000 never showed this wear and tear. What the heck? Looks like some leather Classios are in my future? Anybody else out there experiencing this? I love my rig with problems and all but am becoming a Smitty believer!

I'm only at 600mi, but I have noticed that I needed to slide out and crush down pretty hard on the bolster of the seat when getting out. I was thinking that this might cause wear. So, I am now sliding my butt over first then step out to hopefully prevent this?

Do you slide when getting in/out? What material are your pants made of on that you wear daily?

Some synthetic materials will cause accelerated wear, i.e dress pants.

I'm getting out of my rig wearing the same damn pants and the same damn way I did on my 2002 SR5 AC with no wear and tear on the seats after 240,000 miles. Toyota, get your crap together!

I thought it was a velcro back pocket issue. I dont recall this happening on my 2014. I have 5K miles and its pretty noticeable.

What seat pattern do you have?

All the pics I've seen here are the criss cross pattern.

Anyone have wear issues with the chain link design? 20171002_140538.jpg

I have the criss cross pattern but its the seat bolsters that look worn. The seating surface is holding up better for me.
Annnnd because I cant help myself...

Definitely affecting me. If I don't get some Classios soon the fabric is going to wear through for sure.

    A couple things
I put some universal O’Reillys cheapies on mine two days after I got it for this very reason.

I wanted my upholstery to be pristine when I put the Clazzios on next summer.
