My hood release is broken. I can't tell if the cable is broken or just stuck. I can get a pair of pliers on the end of the cable inside the cab. I pull on the cable and it moves toward ne (about 6-8 inches) but doesn't pop the hood. I need to know how to open the hood from the outside.

    Thanks

Suspension. Billy 5100's all four corners. Fronts set at 0 with Eibach 620 coils for level. Tp14 spacer driver side. Wheels. 17" ultra mavericks with 265/70/17 nitto terra grappler g2. Exterior. super white grill. Debaged. Black housing headlights. Black Led third brake light. Black Depo Tail lights Interior. Led interior bulbs. Neoprene seat covers
Look through the front grill at the hood latch assembly and spray liberally with WD-40. Let it soak in and try again at opening the hood. Sometimes pushing down on the hood can loosen up a stuck latch.
