Mounting Switches by Cup Holder

I have an off-road and limited switch options. Looking to add 3-4 switches and although the sunglass option looks awesome I want my lights easily accessible while driving so I don't blind anyone while driving with my lights on back roads. The empty spot by the cup holder seems like a good spot, any pros or cons to using this area? I'm assuming I'll just need to dremel out a square for the switch panel to fit then run the wires up. That cup holder is pretty pointless anyways, so an option to completely replace that area is also viable. Thanks!

That's how I did it. Relatively easy to wire-up. Probably easier than trying to all the way up the a-pillar.

Those look good. Price is daunting though, seems I could go with the ones here http://www.otrattw.net/Switch-Holders-and-Accessories/ for a fraction of the price

Planning to use switches that are the same size as the factory ones to the left of the steering wheel

 

Ya it's a little more but it uses the small push switches like under the AC controls so you can fit more. But at the same time if you only need 3 or 4 the bigger switches should fit.
