Door check on my 2010 Tacoma

    I truly enjoy my vehicle but the door check is loose inside the driver door.

    I can see that there has been a weld problem with Sienna's but has there been any problem with the Tacoma?

    It is a great truck.

    I don't know what a door check is. Are you talking about the door switch that activates the interior light/dash light?

    I guess I never knew what that thing was for. It looks like it's bolted on, on my Access cab, so I would imagine it should be a simple fix if it is loose.

    Bolted on. Yes there could be an issue if it is constantly allowed to catch the door as it flexes the door metal and will eventually crack and fail.
