Wish I had purchased a manual transmission TRD OR. Looking at GMC Sierras now...

I ended up buying a 2017 Silverado Z71. It was only 2800 more than a taco and the backseat is much bigger. Also liked how it drove a little better than the TRD off-road plus V8 haha

I'd buy my same truck again. I might put 5 more minutes of considering the Inferno into the equation. Cant afford the Pro and didn't want the Sport, the OR was exactly what I wanted. I definitely would not get the premium package again, not for an added $3,000.

If I could change one thing I wish Toyota had Apple CarPlay. The Entune is super lame and underwhelming to me. I don't care about Yelp, Movietickets.com, or Facebook Places. And I'd rather have Google Maps. Does anyone use those apps?

Still stoked with mine. I didn't want red, but it grew on me pretty much immediately. Quicksand or Cement would have rocked also.

I wish it had a sun roof and leather, but those were not must haves. The V6, package, and MT were must haves.

Still love with my TRD OR LB with no premium or tech.

I feel I made the right decision all around for my needs.

Wish I gotten the sport model for the led DRL and push button start. Oh and I wish I gotten something other than black, but damn black looks good on the lot.

I don't think the trim matters as much as the tranny. GET A M/T!

As far as configuration, get what suits your needs.

My opinions only, but i say:

    1. Kids/ frequent backseat riders=DCSB
    2. Cargo hungry but don't have need for passenger space=ACLB

    Get a manual transmission.

Also, I highly recommend the manual over the automatic. Crawl control and MTS will stop working and you'll be too lazy to fix them. Manual is utilitarian and baddass and will perform for a long time. Power issues are nullified with full time control of your.. gears.

One more recommendation: You should go with the M/T.

    Not biased at all.

Love my TRD Pro, but it's honestly dumb to spend the money. I totally agree with the guys who get the TRD 4X4 and deck it out themselves. I'm especially stupid because i got boring old Super White. I mean i could at least have gotten Cement for my $$$$!

But i DID get a stick. (Did i mention they are awesome?)

Addendum: Haha! Just realized he already got a Ford instead. Oh well. My M/T obsession post was fun
