Been reading everything I can about needle bearing failure and the ECGS swap. Everything I've read indicates the roaring sound should go away once in 4hi. Not happening for me....it never goes away and gets louder with speed. There is quite a bit of slop where the CV goes into the differential. No slop on the passenger side.
The wheel bearing seems fine however the growling has become worse after a new set of tires last week. Interested in hearing your opinions. Thanks in advance!
