Looking at getting new bumpers for the taco, got an insurance check from my neighbor backing into my truck, and trying to see how much lift is needed. I currently have 3 inch rough country lift with adjustable billys on the front, stock springs, new leaf springs and the blocks/spacers from the lift. I was looking at tubular bumpers like the all pro ones to give it the baja off roading look. What would be the best bumper options in your opinions and how much more lift would my truck need. Trying to go as minimal as possible. Let me know. Eager to get ol blue even sexier than she already is.

the search feature would definitely benefit you for this question....

honestly, I would ditch the blocks / spacers in the rear and go w/ an AAL, but you'll be fine to put a tubular bumper on it w/ your current lift setup.

i couldn't find anything with the search for it, doesnt seem to respond to my keywords very well lol and all pro doesnt make a tubular for the second gen that I could find, you know of any companies that make a light weight tubular bumper for 2nd gen? and how much lift does the aal add? 1.5 or 2"?

I think your first step would be to figure out exactly which bumper you want, because they all have different weights. Then we need to know if you have any other weight on the truck i.e. camper shell, skid plates, etc. This dictates what is and isn't a good solution for a lift. Then we need to know budget.

only armor i got right now is sos concept sliders, and if i ditch spacers in front what do i do to compensate for that? new springs and jack the adjustable billys up? and i was planning on all pro but i found out they dont make 2nd gen tubular bumpers so now im looking at new options. trying to find something similar.

I would spend the money on a quality lift first.

Rough Country is going to live up to its name when you throw a 200lb bumper on a spacer lift. Rough is all you will be feeling.

886 coils with Dakar leaf packs

You can reuse your existing front 5100s (set at '0')

Do NOT preload struts. If you get longer coils you will need to set the Billstiens at 0.

AND listen to everything @ChadsPride says.

No. 3" suspension lift you want new UCAs.

Are you looking at front and rear bumpers?

If you want a rear bumper youll want dakars in the rear.

Keeo parking behind your neighbor LOL Youll need some more funds.
