I do t know what any of those trails are, but I'm going to be looking to wheel with a group. I'm pretty familiar with the Local off road park. Slick Rock is completely foreign to me though.

I know Mike @cynicalrider has a list too.

Most of those are really hard trails.

For those that haven't been, I highly recommend picking up the Chuck Wells Book before you head out on the trails.

Really hard like you need to be SAS'd to run them?

I'm not looking to run baby trails. My truck is double locked on 35's with bumpers, armor, winch, etc.

But, it's not a buggy either lol!

I'm going to order that book tonight when I'm done in the garage.

I have a ton of experience on slickrock, but I've never wheeled in Moab. Thanks for the suggestion, Brett.

Any 2nd Gen guys want a spare axle? I have 2 cores and could get them rebuilt at CVJ here in Denver. They charge 100 for a core charge I'm asking 85 each for the core or we can work out a rebuild and delivery at Rock Therapy. They have a few options for a rebuild and range from 120 to 190 plus the core

I think you'd like my list Tim.

My current list in order of importance:

    Hells Revenge

    Cliffhanger

The trifecta aka Poison spider mesa, golden spike and gold bar rim

    Moab Rim

    Behind the Rocks

    Metal Masher

Not including TOTW because that's going to be done on my way in.

Covers a solid amount of trails including most of the world famous Moab ones and some I've never heard of until recently but are super stoked about.

Sounds good to me. I'm going to have to do TOTW at some point too.

BTW, Ryan said he should be able to get Thu and Fri off and arrive Wed night.

The thing I never like about that book are the 3 levels of trail difficulty. Nearly every trail I ever wanted to do or was concerned about doing solo is rated difficult.

So Fins & Things is lumped in to the same difficulty level as Pritchett Canyon. Pretty different levels of capability required.

This list is far better (although a bit out of date):

    http://www.cruisemoab.com/trail-rating-system.asp

Fins is 4/10. Pritchett is 9/10.

BTW anyone planning on running the new trail near BFE, Rear Steer?

Thought about rear stear. Kinda like the way my body is shaped.

Mostly the trucks body. Mine could use some work.

Yeah, Rusty Nail and Pritchett are.

That book has many other benefits than the trail ratings.

I've just learned that once you get to the red category, you need to read a little bit more on the minimum recommendations.
