Manual smells?..

Hey guys i was wondering if anybody else noticed a weird smell from the drivers side engine compartment/under the hood etc. It smells like clutch dust/powder but also like plasticish. I'll be honest the night before I was lazy reversing up a hill to parallel park and definitely rode the clutch harder than I used to, just wanna make sure this isn't common amongst other vehicles.

Probably just rode the clutch too hard or something. A similar smell came out of my brothers truck when he tried to do a burnout and the tires didn't break traction.

 

The smell of a burnt clutch hangs around for a while . Have a look at the ingredients in a clutch disc and you will know why the smell hangs around

 

Nothing like the smell of burnt clutch in the morning
