Unfortunately there is not much vent adjustment after the unholey mount is installed, and @Camel89 is correct that it will slightly open and close but not spin. I usually had my vent in a similar position without the mount so the movement hasn't been an issue. Someone modded there vent to open and close fully with a little trimming so that is possible.

Ditto. I attached the Hondo mount so the vent was angled toward me a bit rather than straight up and down. Not being able to rotate or open/close the vent fully hasn't bothered me at all.

I fixed that problem on mine. No direction adjustment (which I never really used anyway) but I can mostly open and close after a little dremel work. Really not much plastic that needs removed.
