Folks, you can't rush art. Stop bitching and moaning, let the man perfect the files so he can get a really solid release.

All this pressure to release something before either finished isn't going to yield positive results.

Word, I miss my manual every once in a while

I will get to any pending questions or emails later this afternoon. This release really must have it all tested, perfected before it goes out.

It's because it's not so much engine issues as it is transmission issues.

 

I'm curious what the opposite of a "gas or brake" driver is...those are the two main inputs to a car with respect to speed so...my guess is a "gas or brake" driver is one who is always heavy on the gas/brake as opposed to light?

If so, I'd argue that it's less about how much you press either pedal and more about where you keep the RPMs which perhaps comes with the territory of being a "gas or brake" driver.

FWIW, I'm with @BillyToy. I enjoy the way mine drives stock but I do think this tune would make it even better.

Some changes to ignition maps
change to intake VVT at idle / under 1200 rpm



The 3 versions will have:
Map v1
shifting control - D mode - All Gears
- Torque maps to match

Map v2
shifting control - D mode - gears 1-4 (5th and 6th shifting left as stock)
- Torque maps to match

Map v3
shifting control - D mode - gears 2-5
- Torque maps to match
