I'm attempting to install a light bar on the front of my 2015 Tacoma and have a question regarding how to hook up a Toyota Push Switch CH4x4 Industries switch which has 2 red wires and 2 black wires coming from the switch along with a 40 amp 4 pin relay. Can anyone assist with wiring directions. Thanks

This that and the other thing.
did it come with any sort of wiring harness to plug onto the relay? or will u have to run all the wires individually yourself?

the Red wire and the black wire that are side by side are the wires for the switch illumination. you can tap these into your dash or off an add-a-fuse that hooked onto an ACC fuse under the dash.

the green and red next to each other, Green is power coming from battery (fused), red is going to your relay to Pin 85 I think, Pin 86 would then go to a ground or negative terminal on ur battery. This is to energize the coil in the relay when u push the switch and close the connection between 30 and 87

Pin 30 is fused power from battery and 87 goes to light bar. then ground ur light bar.

verify the pin numbers tho lol or post a picture of the diagram on the relay u have.

No, the relay did not come with a wiring harness and only the switch came with a harness having 4 wires of which 2 centers are red and 2 outside are black there is no green.

Hi Eric, My other wiring harness for the switch has a green and you are correct that red does go to 85.
What I did not do run the last 2 red and black together to ACC fuse under the dash, these I ran separate with the black to ground and the red to dash lights. Is that why its not working?
