    hello TW,
I currently own a 2006 tundra trdor 4wd access cab, looking at replacing "her" with a 3rd gen taco. Trying to decide between trdor & trd pro, as well as man & auto trans.
Before the tundra I had a 99 taco sr5 4wd 5sp man w/4wd shifter next to the trans shifter, manual locking hubs and the original Toyota hand brake...sorry, reminiscing about my old taco. excited to see all the mods for the tacos and what I can afford.

Welcome try and find a very low mileage 2nd Gen, as the kinks probably won't worked out of the 3rd Gen until the 4th Gen comes out.

Whatever you do, take several long test drives before you pursue a particular model.

Lots of complaints around here from folks regarding issues that should have been revealed that way. (like seat comfort)

Once you decide you know what you want, if you find it on a lot, take a long (overnight if possible) ride with it. I mean the specific unit you are buying.

Don't be glazed over by pretty. Just pretend you're checking it over for your best friend and it's going to take his last $35k to get into it, so you want to help him make a good choice. ;)
