    Good news since 1.02B has begun to act weird. Dropping to 4th gear on overpasses where it use to only drop to 5th and MPG has decreased slightly.

    Great work Mat - and I appreciate the reality you’ve come to that everyone has different tastes esp when it comes to shifting behavior. Some folks want to nearly redline the thing before shifting each time, some would prefer to never use anything above 4th unless going downhil (where they’d prefer no engine braking). Others just want to smooth things out, etc., You patience with this crew is abundantly commendable!

    My buddy who has a 400HP Mazdaspeed 3 got into a little stoplight rev battle with one the other day. The Civic owner is now ashamed of himself.
