I just purchased a 2002 toy Tacoma extended cab 2.4 liter . It cam with 245/35r20 tires and rims . Has stock suspension and I'm ready to lower and make it ride good . Don't won't to over do it . Looking for a good ride and not brake the budget . I was thinking blocks and springs with new shocks all around but don't know what to order with the tires and rims it already has on it . Sorry for the newbie question but I need help thAnks !! Any ideas ? Just looking for the truck to sit nice not super low .

    I believe since it's a 2.4 it must be a 5 lug.

Not quite as much product on the market for our 5 lugs. We do have a 5 lug forum though, and there is a 'street Tacoma' site somewhere.

15 or 16" wheels with more sidewall will help the ride a lot. I mean it is a truck after all, and has a truck suspension.

For suspension options, I'd peruse those forums, or better yet call Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road for her recommendations.

Be very careful with lowering. Doing it wrong can instantly ruin the ride quality. Spending a pile of cash and time for no improvement would be very frustrating I'm sure.

I also don't mind the bigger rims and like the look just would like the truck to sit a little closer to the tires and tighten the suspension up as it floats around to much kind of sloppy
