I have a 2003 Dbl Cab off road that is getting the frame replaced - damn thing rusted out, but that's another story. Upgrading the suspension and we want to go with a mild lift and high end shocks - right now that means Fox Coil Over 2.5 with a remote reservoir up front. A friend has those shocks on his 2014 FJ and loves them - he's also running without a sway bar.

Is there a consensus on whether to get the extended links for the sway bar or just leave it off? Obviously the truck would have more roll on turns, however for off-roading it'll be much nicer (or so I'm told and actually experienced driving my buddy's FJ).

I'm not going to be rock crawling with this rig much at all - mostly paved roads and the weekend dirt roads while camping, with the occasional technical stuff thrown in a couple times a year.

Would appreciate any suggestions / recommendations.
