I have a 2015 TRD Sport with almost 40k miles. In the last 6 months I have experienced a few new and weird issued with the truck. It seems to be making a weird sound when I accelerate. Also when I am driving and have to slow down quickly (like coming up too quickly on a stop sign or when someone cuts me off on the high way) and then accelerate quickly it makes a clunking sound and feel... On my previous oil change the tech said the bolts on the transmission pan were leaking. I took it in to the dealership and they said its a closed transmission system and all fluids were good. Honestly I'm not sure they even really checked. Has anyone else experienced anything similar to these issues?

Take it back in, explain what the service tech said, your experience driving and demand the fluid be checked and documented. Go to another dealer if that one doesn’t want to do the work.

It’s never a big deal as long as its not their ride.
