hello everyone, I have recently moved to Boise, ID area and need a new tire shop. My old shop was great, private company. Up here it looks like I have three choices( I will never use Les Schwab). I have Big O Tires, Commercial tire or Discount tire. Which one of these would you choose? I'm buying 4 ST MAXX tires at 285/75/16 and have heard they can be a bitch to balance. So I want a knowledgeable, skilled shop. Thanks for any input.

My guess is that any shop is only as good as the employees working there at the present time. You need to speak with the "locals" -- dealers and individuals -- to get their opinions. Get as inputs as you can, as you may get some biased answers. Also talk to anyone there that has a fleet of vehicles and does a ongoing business with said dealers.
