Sounds like you've got a plan. One of those $10 Sawyer Sweetwater filters shoyld screw on the end of your hose pretty easy in case you have to fill w/ 'iffy' water...

You all should totally just buy this plug and play kit, I highly recommend it. I run a 15 gallon drinking water tank in my bed as my water source. This kit or the RTT is the single best mod I have ever done to my truck.

Thats 5gal more than I got but I am really trying to keep as much bed space as possible. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks that water is an important asset to have. Went up into the local canyon last night and took my hibachi with some grub so the boss (wife) and I could enjoy the lightning while we have dinner. Hit some semi rough areas20170910_214335.jpg 20170910_215305.jpg 20170910_214354.jpg and so far the skid is holding up great. Nice having the tank, filled up the dogs bowl, washed our hands, ect. She says Im weird cause I love the way it looks dirty.
