On the trans yes, oil pan no. I actually installed a fumoto valve last time I did my oil too.

That’s a big ass chunk. If your spitting out chunks that size you would have a ton of shaving on your magnet.

 

I recall there wasn't very much on the magnet for the trans

Think maybe I should also get a funnel with the mesh filters so when I put my old oil in a container I can check for metal bits then.

 

Mother in law is sick so she can’t watch the kids tonight. Sooooooo wife and son head out to party while daddy gets to stay home with the 2 younger ones.

I gotta throw refinery operations in that pot too- thats what i do. I started out as a terminal operator for Kinder Morgan once out of the Air Force in 99- and have been in Terminal, Lab, and now Refinery operations since then. Always made 6 figures, great medical, 401k, Pension paid vacay etc. I have 2 years of college, but not needed for what I do. Most of the guys i work with only have a h.s. diploma. Its extremely competitive to get on at a refinery but WELL worth it. To anyone looking for a solid job- i would say look no further.
