Hey everyone, I'm new to the site and looking for some help.

My air cleaner box broke right where the mass airflow sensor attaches. I've tried mig, tig and JBweld even a little duct tape. I finnaly decided to purchase a new box and can't seem to find the correct one. Everyone I come across has a spot for a different style mass airflow sensor. I threw in a picture just in case I'm missing something, my sensor is inline around 3in diameter, the other boxes have a hole for one that comes in the side.

    Thanks, Tyler

Replaced chrome badges with Sockmonkey black badges, painted billet grill black, K&N cold air intake, my corner light turn signal circuit, Speedfreek traction bars, RAAMaudio BXT/Ensolite, Stereo: Kenwood KIV-701 USB/Bluetooth deck, 10" Pioneer shallow sub behind the rear seat, Infinity 6822cf 6x8 front and rear doors, Fosgate P400-2 (sub), US Acoustics USX-4065 (four main speakers)
My 03 V6 has the mass air flow sensor on the side and looks to be smaller than yours (like you have been finding). Maybe the top mounted sensor is a pre-2001 thing? I have had luck repairing hard plastic with a soldering iron (melting the plastic together where the crack is) although it sounds like you might have tried something like that already. You may also have luck looking for a used OEM one. Occasionally someone puts a K&N in and sells the original box. I had to look for a few months on Tacomaworld before I found someone selling their OEM box (I wanted to replace the K&N that the original owner put on with a stock box). Maybe someone who knows can give you the years that use that sensor size/position.

Thanks! Yeah I've tried a few fixes and it just breaks after a few months. Sounds like the ones I keep finding are for the smaller top mounted sensor like you stated. I'll keep searching.
