    I just went through this.
If all your doing is running wire and adding a switch, you do not have to remove any of it.

Use a slim screw driver or knife blade and you can pop the switches and/or blanks out of the dash.

Next place a flashlight in the floorboard, look through the hole the switch was in and you will be able to see light.

Use a piece of stiff wire or anything else you have to fish your new wires through the hole to under the dash.

    Hope that makes sense.

Remove the little try that is under them like you would to access the fuse block and you can reach in there to press the tabs that hold those switches in place.
Generally if you just press one of the tabs you will be able to wiggle the switch out,

Sorry, I thought we moved over to the left side of the steering wheel.

The switches under the AC control are removed just like the cover, or you can remove the cover next to the switch and reach back there with a finger to help push the switch out.

A lot of people gouge up the plastic panel when they pry the blanks out with a screwdriver.

Best access it to remove the center console first, then you have room to pop the covers out from behind without gouging the fronts. Also gives you access to feed the wires through, assemble the switch, and pop it back in.

You pretty much have to strip the dash. Guage cluster, lower dash, glove box, stereo panel, AC control panel, and center console. Then you can remove the center panel with the switches and 12V outlets. All that stuff overlaps. The access to the stereo fasteners is behind the AC controls. You need to pull loose the guages to uncover the stereo. The lower dash covers the left side, the glovebox the fasteners on the right, and the center console covers the bottom fasteners.
