Hey Y'all! Former 2007 Tundra owner here. I made the switch to my 2013 Tacoma Sport April of this year. I've been a long time Toyota owner and my entire family own's noting but Toyota's, with the exception of a Lexus GX460, same difference. I am/was a member of Tundra Talk and was in the process of building my Tundra into an "Overland/Daily Driver" rig. I've since decided I needed a four wheel drive vehicle to accomplish this (Tundra was 2wd). I decided on the Tacoma after test driving a couple of them. Since my parents 'blessed' me with the short gene, I decided I didn't need such a big truck. Compared to the Tundra, I like the Tacoma a lot better. I do plan on a mild lift (3in), If anybody has any suggestions on a suspension setup that handles good off road, I'd like to hear them! Thanks!

Same here went from a F250 to 08 Tundra Limited. No regrets on my TRD Pro purchase.

Did you ever gind the size/weight of the tundra holding you back? Im trying to sell my 2wd for a 4x4 and not sure if i want another tacoma or go for a fullsize for the cab space but im worried about offroad capability if i do go fullsize

I do miss the cab and bed space of the Tundra but didn't really need it. If I had to do it all over again I'd still buy the Tacoma. Compared to the Tacoma the Tundra is a TANK. I average 18-19 MPG in the Tacoma but only averaged 10.5-11 MPG in the Tundra. As far as off road capability, the Tacoma kicks the Tundras butt! The Tacoma smaller and more agile, I can take it through trails the Tundra would never fit through. But again, the Tundra was 2WD no locking rear diff, so I didn't do much off-roading.
