    Hey there everyone!

I've been using the search function (possibly poorly) and have been unable to come up with an answer so I'll start here.

Is there a list of recommended Upper Control Arms that I am missing?
I'm looking to order a 3' lift for my 2016 off-road relatively soon and while I do want good quality parts (most likely Toytech Boss right now) and I do know that you get what you pay for... The Total Chaos UCA's are very pricey.

Now I've searched around and it's fairly obvious that the TC UCA's are the favorites on this forum. Would there be any other options I could look at for a real comparison?

I appreciate it guys! Please don't kill me if i missed an entire thread about this in my search! ;)

    Too few to list.
LR UCA's are pretty popular here as well and they are adjustable and cheaper.

a uniball UCA will be stronger than a ball joint type UCA

    my build tread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/socal-no-shame-poser-build.513084/
This question has always bothered me and im still deciding myself because upper control arms are as much as front suspension itself. 650$ for control arms is such a huge expense. Some people including shops say you dont need them under 3” some say u do so i wish it was just a hard fast rule so i knew for sure. I am skeptical they may not be needed for adding 2” lift to new toyota for a total 3” lift and its just people on here promoting them becuase they bought them. I just dont know. I dont want to mess my truck up eother though and have issues with cv boots etc

SPC light racing and a Hiem joint UCA's are the only adjustable ones I believe.

I'd prefer the adjustability of the SPC. Either way, I'm still on stock UCAs :bananadead:
