2017 TDR OR: 4" BDS lift kit, Need wheel and tire recommendations

Hey Guys,

I have 2017 TRD OR. I am purchasing a 4" BDS suspension lift. The recommended tire and wheel combo is: 33 x 12.50 w/18 x 9 and 4.5" Max. back spacing

Any recommendations for off road rims and tires?

For tires, as mentioned, the Ridge Grappler is a tire quickly gaining popularity with enthusiasts. If you're after a hybrid M/T-A/T tire this may be a good choice.

Lugs, probably, depending on which wheel that you go with. You may be able to re-use the TPMS sensors. One option would be to get new lugs and TPMS sensors, then sell off your stock wheel/tire combo as a complete set with lugs and TPMS sensors. May be able to get more money to help offset the cost of the new wheel/tire combo.

I have done that in the past when lifting my vehicles. Selling the wheel/tire combo as complete with sensors and lugs did bring in a few more dollars.

 

Got it. Thank you for the help. What is a fair asking price for wheels and tires with lugs and sensors? They will most likely have 7K on them by the time I get the lift and new wheel setup.

 

That is hard to say. I have been lucky in the past and sold them right away for what I wanted, but I have also sat on them for a while as well and took less. Selling them locally would be the best way to go, as there would be no shipping involved. If you are willing to ship, then I would think that would get them sold faster.
