Hey Tacomaworld, I am soon to be moving out of my 2 door Jeep Wrangler into a 2017 Tacoma. I have upgraded the Jeep a bit over the years and the one thing I wish to transfer over to the Tacoma is a Quadratec Q9500i winch because its still pretty new. The winch is a standard 10" x 4.5" bolt pattern yet its a bit wider and taller (just by a inch if that) than a recommended Smittybilt XRC and X20 winches that I saw with a couple bumpers.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Bobby

Why not mount it on a receiver? If you get a front hitch or bumper with one, you can pull from either end whenever you need to.

I was hoping to find something more along the lines of a "hidden" winch mount but don't know what dimensions winches they can hold. Nevertheless still some interesting ideas. And that ARB bumper looks awesome RIDERD67!

Having a rear winch is pretty awesome- it allows you to back uphill if you get stuck on a boulder. I've never known anyone (else) who has done it, but it could (did) and being able to move your (my) winch from front to back can be a great self-recovery trick :) like I said- I never known anyone (else) who was dumb enough to get stuck going down a steep hill, but it could (did) happen! :)
