I had some newer tires I was noticing some excessive wear on so I took it back to the shop that did the alignment. After I got it back, fixed, I realized that the squealing turning everyone's head while I turned sharply and accelerated moderately out of the parking lot was suspiciously absent.

So... if your wheels are squealing on a newer paved parking lot and everyone else's isn't it could be your alignment. Go get it checked out you slacker!
