My kid brother had a TON of ear infections when he was a young. They cleared up as he got older, but I think he was closer to 10 before they really went away.

He was sick in general a lot when we were younger, actually. Yours truly almost never got sick but he was always down for the count with something. He had the flu and strep throat more before he'd hit the 2nd grade than I have in my entire life.

 

Same goes for my oldest and my youngest.

My oldest, by the time he was about 1 1/2 had already had a ton of ear infections, which is what lead to the doc saying we should get tubes. My youngest has only had 1 ear infection so far. Go figure.

Granted my oldest was a daycare baby since he was 3 months old, which probably "contributed" to him getting sick a lot more.

Just gotta roll with the punches I guess. Never a dull moment, that's for sure.

We've got one of those too. Little Yorkie/Silkie mix. He's our "first born". Kids love him. Not so sure if the feeling is mutual though.

 

Kids are a gruesome thought at this point in my life... I don’t think I’d want one for atleast another 5 years or so

 

Enjoy yourself first. Do all the things you want to do, then think about it. That's what the wife and I did. Traveled, did a lot of stuff we wanted to, then "settled down".

 

I'm sure they are wondering why the hell you are crapping in the house!

Nah you can find yourself some nice ladies in Boston who buy you a nice meal and a new watch... first time in Asian section and was like damn there’s a bunch of 30 year old sugar mommas out there that can drive with eyes closed

 

And the "hits" just keep on coming. I must really have pissed someone, or something, off.

Wife's car goes in for a recall. It's a 2008 Mazda cx7. About 93k miles. Whatever they were doing came with a free alignment. Tie rod busted, needed to be replaced. Also found it's leaking oil from somewhere. Diagnostic fee. So for the free recall it cost me $275. Now the really bad news. Supposedly needs transfer case reseal kit ($876), rear main seal (rear crankshaft) ($1197), and oil coder/oil filter housing gasket ($779). Lovely. Called Firestone. Based on that, they would be $2200. But said dealership sometimes overkills on what is needed, so... Taking it in tomorrow for a second opinion.

Car is only worth about $5700 selling privately, or $2600-$3500 trade in at a dealership.

If they busted the tie rod, they should replace it on their dime.

 

It wasn't them. Pretty sure it was already busted. The few times I've driven it, it felt "weird". Wife never said anything about it... Figures.
