I've searched up and down the forums for hours, but I have an SR5 without the black fender flares, and my worry is that the wheels will poke out too much unless I have the flares to compensate.

Does anyone have pictures of a 3rd gen truck with te37x or really any 16x8 0 offset wheel without flares? Thank you.

I think they will be close to flush maybe a little poke; But depending on what tire you get, may make them look further out or not.

-Buys cheapest truck, puts most expensive rim on-
I like the way you work. In fact, If I were to do it all over again I would have went SR5 and modded the hell out of it.
Post pics when you get em on!

5100's all around, OME 887 with 1/4" spacer, icon 3 leaf aal. 255/75/17 BFG KM's on 4runner pro's. Rigid led pods. Debadged and tinted.
That was my thought when I bought my SR. Why pay for expensive stuff to sit in the shed....

Anywho.. My truck does not have flares. This is a decent few pics of how my wheels set. They are 17x7 with a +4 offset. That means those wheels would protrude another 1/2" or so. Hope this helps!

I should also add, my tires are 255 width. So if you're wanting to run a wide tire, that will be something else to consider...

Ya, I think mine sit perfect for those of us without flares. 8" with with 0 offset is what all of the cool wheels come in. Looks like you have to add some flares on that bad boy!

I found one before, cant seem to locate it now. There are some aftermarket options that re pretty easy to install. Someone on here installed the OEM flares without drilling into the fenders. Used the available existing holes, and double sided tape without all of the OEM clips.
