For starters i would like to give a huge shout out to Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road she was amazing and it's no wonder how they won vendor of the year last year! She was very timely with responses and answered all my questions jumping back and forth between 2-3 leaf pack set ups. After about 2 months of research and working with Marie i finally decided on Deavers Expedition 2 leaf pack which is rated for 500-700 lbs constant load. Since i am running @CBI Offroad Fab amazing dual swing arm rear bumper with jerry cans, full size spare and snug top shell the weight adds up quickly and the saggy bottom look and functionality was no longer working for me lol This is where i would also like to thank all of the forum members who chimed in on my https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/deaver-expedition-leaf-pack-owners.501763/
people who really put me at ease with the install questions, CB shims, driveshaft vibration and all the other questions i truly appreciate your guys help and if i forgot to mention you please feel free to call me out! There were just so many people who helped i felt its only right to give credit to those people...

@JerryTaco - from IG messages to making posts in my threads i really appreciate the help and the information regarding gears is my next step so i don't know if i should thank you or hate you for making me want to drop the money now verses waiting lol

@erok81 - thanks for giving me some peace of mind when it came to the vibration concerns and one of these days we need to meet up since your so close lol

@Tricky Taco - thank you for supplying pictures and giving insight on your set up as it was very helpful to have first hand experience from someone who is already running the set up!

@90yota - thanks for always liking my posts lol giving great input and or suggesting people who may be able to help! super happy you got that RTT and can finally start using that awesome rack you built!

@transworldmoto - when i was jumping back and forth between OME, deaver and all pro you gave me a lot of good info on the set ups you were and had been running and gave a lot of insight on different packs and i really appreciate it! Your information actually lead me to wanting All Pros leaf pack but unfortunately at the time they were out of the expo 2 packs which were the only ones that could handle my weight... i thank you for the detailed messages and all of the help!

@Dacon - thanks for explaining over the phone in detail the process of finding the driveshaft degrees and how to eliminate vibrations and all of the link info you e-mailed me! that kind of help is priceless and when a forum member calls you on the phone and explains a process for over an hour with you to make sure your good to go really shows the kind of person/forum member you are! i really appreciate it man!

@allpro - i spoke with you guys on and off trying to figure out which leaf pack would work best and while i didn't go with your leaf pack i wanted you guys to know i really did want to go with you guys as mentioned above but due to the unknown timeline of the expo 2 packs being back in stock my poor truck couldn't last any longer with all that weight in the rear. i appreciate all the help and questions you guys answered and even though i didn't get the springs from you guys i sure as hell love the new u bolt flip plates i ordered!

@Wheeler's Off-Road Inc - Thank you for the responses on the dakars when i was showing insterest in getting the heavy duty set up! while i didnt get my springs through you guys i did get great customer service with answers to my questions and i thank you!

@Low Range Off-Road - same as the rest of the vendors on here, you guys answered any and all of my questions and i truly appreciate the help! I also have to give you guys props as you are the only vendor i have ever gotten a full sticker sheet from for just simply ordering a part! Now don't get me wrong a lot of great vendors on here give decals but i literally ordered a cheapo $10 part and they sent me a full sticker sheet?! i appreciate it and so does my tool box, garage fridge and workbench lol

Like i said if i forgot to mention you please let me know but i believe i got almost everyone who i felt truly helped me out through this whole process... if anyone has questions regarding leaf spring comparisons, installs etc i've asked about every questions and with the help from the above people i would love to pass on the information so PM or respond to this thread and i'll do my best to help answer any questions.

Installation... pretty easy but i wanted to ensure i did it the easiest way possible as i was doing this solo and with the leaf springs weighing almost 70 lbs a pc and a bad back from a week ago i wanted to keep it simple. i started off watching @Low Range Off-Road amazing youtube video for their OME install... if you haven't seen their videos you need to subscribe and check em out! that whole video basically helped me step by step and the best part was they supplied torque specs in their video which to me personally those little things added into videos/instructions means the world to me and shows just how much they care to make sure nothing is missed. So big high five to Low Range and their crew!

I didn't have a lift unfortunately so jack stands and wheel chocks were a must! please remember when working underneath any vehicle and hammering/moving things around under there to be as safe as possible! while trying to get the new deavers lined up i was having difficulties being by myself... answer... have a second jack ready to help and a ratchet strap! those two things saved me i don't know how many hours by strapping the rear axle and then connecting it to the frame near the drivers front door it allowed me to ratchet the axle forward to line up the bottom of the leaf springs bolt head into the axle flange part. after that its as simple as tightening and torquing to specs. I did do the carrier drop kit from OME and while it looks like the drive shaft angle is a little steep i do not currently have any vibrations or issues.

i apologize for the lack of pictures from the install but honestly unless you wanted to see angry pictures of me yelling and cussing at the truck you didn't really miss much lol but here are a few pictures of the way i placed the truck on stands and the best part the end result pictures... no more saggy bottom for me!

That's pretty cool. Most people ask for help then disappears. The truck looks pretty good!

I hated doing my springs. They are sooooo heavy.

Thanks for the props man! Be sure to pick my brain if you have any questions when the time comes... like I said there's a lot of options but between deaver and all pro you can't really go wrong!

Haha I'm kidding, rig looks legit. I'd actually posted in @90yota's build thread and he said you were going this route. I need to get my rear bumper first, but those look nice..

old thread but how did you mount the brake lines? I've messaged @HeadStrong Off-Road,where i bought my deavers and ALL of my suspension, and marie has been great but i figured i would search on here. I dont want her to get tired of my endless questions.

Bump, again old thread, however I just installed my deavers + Kings this weekend and was also wondering about the one brake line bracket that there is no longer a threaded mount hole for? It seems like it would be fine without it, so I'm considering cutting the bracket off the line but don't want to do that until I get confirmation that there is no mounting hole for that.
