IMG_3349.jpg IMG_3490.jpg Ive had the same 2006 Nissan Titan king cab (extended cab) off road for 8 years and I couldn't have been happier. It had its quirks but I knew every one of them, and loved it anyway. Well it was time for something new and I saw a Tacoma TRD pro in white and fell in love all over again. An already hefty price tag, no negotiation room and a $10k "market adjustment" made it a little out of my reach, but an off road was attainable so that's what I went home with. One week in and I'm thrilled. I could use a little more throttle response but 20+ hours of reading TW and I think im pretty well caught up and ready to attack the few things I can improve on. This site is great but I can see already that it's going to cost me a fortune every time I visit.

Welcome! What are the biggest differences between the two trucks you see right from the get? I am curious.

    Thanks for the welcome!

I'll get back to you on the biggest differences, besides the obvious when comparing an 11 year old full size to a new mid size, it's hard to say after 300 miles. The titan was a v8 with low gearing thanks to the off road package. It didn't have much more power on paper, 305hp I think, but it felt like it did. The Tacoma will take some getting used to, but I'm willing to give it a chance.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that if you or a loved one has been diagnosed with mesothelioma you might be entitled to financial compensation.
