Better in more than just appearances? But ya.. I still think I'll pull the trigger on the NV's. I think they match 2nd gens nicely.

Do you need 1/4 spacer to fit the front wheels or they will fit without any spacers ? I wanna get Method Hole Race wheels in 16' but some guys said its they don't clear the front brake caliper is that right ?

16” wheels should clear, you will run into that problem with anything under 16. Were they talking about Methods specifically?

I wanna get 307 hole racing black method in 16' and here what the costomer service reply me back after i confirmed my order :

"Thanks again for your online wheel purchase. I had my wheel department check to see why we didn't list the 16x8 Method Hole online for your 2012 4WD Toyota Tacoma and they just messaged me back saying they don't clear the front brake caliper. Would you like me to ship these out anyway or would you like to consider a different wheel?''

But after reading that, i saw few post into this forum about 16' in all black method models and some people said they fit clear and another said they need 1/4 spacer...

    Here's a picture of these :

Been a while since I've posted, unfortunately, I normally go through streaks on TW where I'm active if I'm looking to do something new to my truck lol. I always check up on here regardless though.

Looking good! I want that front runner kit. Would keep my utensils much more organized! I’ll be in eagle river again this summer at some point for a few weeks. We should meet up for a beer over at odd man rush or something.

Odd man rush is pretty damn good! And yeah i got tired of having to go and grab all the utensils separately so this was a nice solution for like $50

Been creeping on your sweet ride, at this point in your build with the dakars did you loose any rear lift when you added that plate bumper?

Ive got the standard dakar pack and Im trying to figure out if I need to add a leaf to make it a "heavy" pack when I add my rear plate bumper

Can you comment on the "loss of power" associated with 285s? about to go that route and wondering if a re-gear is really necessary?

It just feels sluggish to shift a lot of the time, and sometimes on the highway it’ll be stuck at about 3000rpm and it takes it forever to shift and go down to about 2000rpm when doing like 65.
