Trying to get my new to me 09 DC LB TRD Sport the way I want it.

Added a A R E topper to the bed which probably weighs 200-300#. I have the 4pac rear already done by dealer and I have billstein 5100s on all 4 corners with fronts at .85.

I want more lift and I am thinking about setting front to 1.75....BUT my worry is with the weight of the topper I might have a negative rake which would drive me nuts.

Thoughts? Also I assume that going from .85 to 1.75 will still limit me to a max tire size of 275 70 17 on stock trd sport rims?????

Swap out your stock coils for 884s

Set the billies back down to 'zero'

Get Dakar leaf packs for the extra weight out back

I run 265/70/17 on my TRD Sport DCLB in a stock suspension. Any bigger and it will rub on full turn. If I remember correctly all other parts being equal 265 vs 275 is roughly an inch taller in diameter depending on the specific tire and tread. So not only are you wider but youll have a taller sidewall by default. So might have to trim up some things

For serious, your truck will thank you.

I like to do mods that make my truck better.

The Dakars, did just that.

You can't go 275 on a stock wheel. The tire is too wide and will rub the UCA.
