My 4wd engages perfectly, every time. 4 hi 4 low and the e locker.

But when I’m driving it will just start blinking, not in 4wd I’ve checked burned a little rubber.

Can’t seem to fix it, pulled the actuator on the t case and cleaned it out many times. My first actuator went bad and I replaced it now it does this

Maybe head to your local parts store and have them pull the codes :notsure: not sure if it'll show up but worth a shot.

Found this in the FSM I have. Not sure how electrically inclined you are but might be worth taking a look at. Also, will include that pdf section.
    Inspect actuator resistance.jpg
Checked the owners manual also, just states to take it to the dealer.

    3-29-2018 update

4WD LOW blinking dash light SOLVED...
4WD LO blinking light has been on and off for a few months now. Cruise control started acting funky, then went clear out recently, thought maybe both were related. Maybe the spiral cable?
Toyota service writer says not... It was a corroded ground connection in the engine bay. 4LO trouble light was off when I picked it up from the cruise fix but came back on that same day. CHIT! Now I'm thinking maybe it's a bad chassis ground? All ground connections I could find in the engine bay are corroded. I'll clean/replace those as time/weather permits and see what happens.

    6-11-18 update

Back to the shop. It was yet another bad ground. This time, they couldn't find it, so they ran a new ground wire along the affected harness, and tied it into the connectors at each end. OBD connector is working again, cruise control working again, no trouble lights on the dash.

Awesome thank you man. My old actuator went to shit from snow wheeling and water etc.
I got a semi used one and it engages perfectly but I just can’t figure it out!
